Welcome to Resource Recovery Great Lakes

Great Lakes Resource Recovery Park is a multi-award winning waste reduction and recycling social enterprise based on the mid north coast of NSW.

In addition to our showcase site at Tip Rd Tuncurry, we operate the Landfill and Resource Recovery at Stroud, and Transfer Stations at Tea Gardens and Bulahdelah NSW.

Our sites maximise the re-use and recycling of steel, green waste, concrete rubble, bric-a-brac, batteries, polystyrene, e-waste, oil, mattresses, poisons and problem waste.

Great Lakes Resource Recovery Park in Tuncurry incorporates the Green Shop, Green Bikes Program, Green Community Garden and the Wallis Lakes Men's Shed.

Since 1991, we have worked in partnership with Great Lakes Council to achieve progressive environmental and local employment targets. We have doubled the life of the Tuncurry landfill, and employed 25+ staff across the four Great Lakes sites.

We also manage the Council's dog and cat pound.
