Last financial year we helped divert 1,573 tonnes of waste from landfill for reuse and employed 104 people.

Resource Recovery Australia (RRA) is a social enterprise: a different kind of business
Resource Recovery Australia is part of Community Resources, a national not-for-profit that specialises in social enterprise. We work with local Councils and communities to:
– Keep waste out of landfill
– Create stable and meaningful jobs for people experiencing barriers to work (75% of our workforce)
– Engage and connect people in the communities in which we work

Community Resources employs more than 500 people across Australia in jobs that care for people and planet, keeping waste out of landfill, growing and distributing fair food, and providing community service to those who need it most. Resource Recovery Australia is one of its three social enterprises.
